Influenced by the island music, you can hear his love of reggae, R&amp;B, and the sounds of his teenage years in bands such as Boys II Men. K-Anthony&rsquo;s career is buoyed by faith, resilience and the deep-rooted values of his upbringing. The underlying themes of K-Anthony&rsquo;s music are his love for God and hope for the future in His return.</p> Sun, Mar 29, 2026 07:00 pm -0400 Andrews University Choirs Spring Concert https://www.andrews.edu/agenda/67531 <p> <strong>&ldquo;Unsealed: Life Triumphant!&rdquo; Andrews University&rsquo;s Easter Choral Concert Featuring Masterworks by Bach and Britten</strong></p> <p> The Andrews University Singers and Chorale invite the community to a special Easter Choral Concert on Saturday, April 4 at 8:30 p.m. in the Howard Performing Arts Center.&nbsp; The concert will feature two profound and contrasting sacred works: &ldquo;Christ lag in Todesbanden&rdquo; by Johann Sebastian Bach, and &ldquo;Rejoice in the Lamb&rdquo; by Benjamin Britten.</p> <p> This inspiring program explores themes of resurrection, joy, and spiritual reflection from Baroque, 20th-century, and 21<sup>st</sup>-century musical voices.</p> <p> Under the direction of Stephen Zork, this performance also serves as the graduate choral conducting recital of Jahaziel Gutierrez, marking an important milestone in his musical studies. Gutierrez will lead a chamber orchestra selected from the Andrews University Symphony Orchestra joined by organists Kenneth Logan and Brenton Offenbach.
