We’re often trying to better our lives and there’s nothing wrong with that. Still, it’s always good to pause and take stock of our intentions. Why are we trying to improve?

 

One thing is clear: the way forward is not found in insisting on doing things our own way or loving ourselves to the point where we’re centered on selfish ambitions. Life isn’t about us. It’s about pleasing the God who gave us life and patterning our life after His.
